Rezension:
I\'d like to send this to mrm tribuplex Most major European opera houses continue to have a dramaturg on their payroll, but in Britain the habit has never really caught on. Covent Garden briefly had Patrick Carnegy in the late 1980s, but nobody since; and although Glyndebourne recently engaged Cori Ellison, she is only part-time and (strangely) based offsite in the US. Our other opera companies do without, commandeering the Director of Publications or Education to fill in where necessary. I think this is a pity: the right person in this position can provide extremely useful interface with the public.
