Review:
What do you like doing in your spare time? writing an essay Out of the 30 odd retailers that have stocked my products, I trialled about 12 different store formats. Differences in store format result from customer incomes, sizes of stores, product range, additional services and the retailer’s image. Many formats won’t work for you and I had my fair share of disasters. I was given the opportunity to sell in a bike shop cafĂ© which I thought was a good idea at the time. It turned out that after a cup of tea, the last thing people wanted was a shower gel. But the point is, you never know – things that sound ridiculous sometimes work! That’s why experimenting is worthwhile.
