Surely as a parent you want to teach these children about values like commitment and self-sacrifice? However, it won’t benefit either your kids or your partner’s to be around a parent and step-parent who aren’t getting on. I just want you to consider what sort of man you want to be – a feckless philanderer or a good father? I’m pretty sure you can’t be both. Is that telling you straight enough?
